Pathologies and parametrical modes
Functioning modes of blood circulation system, that can be modelled only by the change of numerical parameter values (without change of mathematical equations of the model (1)), are named parametrical modes. As a rule these pathologies can be modelled with a help of change of parameter values.
In the current model version the following pathologies and parametrical modes are realized.
Arrhythmias |
Myocardial pathologies |
Valvular pathologies |
Vascular pathologies |
Other parametrical modes |
Pathologies of this list are characterized by relatively small amount of the parameters, participating in their modelling, and also are accompanied by acute hemodynamic changes, that makes them suitable for demonstration in educational purposes.
The control panel of pathologies on modelling page allows user to choose the settings from a standard options.
Pathologies from this list can be combined or not be combined with each other. Selecting several elements from the list, a user should mean that selecting of one more pathology can result in change of parameter values, that have been already selected earlier. For example, such pathologies as "systolic left ventricular dysfunction" and "diastolic left ventricular dysfunction" are modelled by changing of the same parameters, but in opposite directions.

Actions user on this section |
The executing of action named "Apply new parameters" leads to an actualization of user-changed pathologies and modes. |
The execution of action named "Default modes settings" sets values of all structural parameters by default. |
The executing of action named "Clear modes" deselect all list elements. |
The action named "Default Web page" is intended for the display of the current page in Web-browser in the right half of the modelling page.. |
The action "Show Web page" turns on/off the mode of Help page display in the right half of the modelling page. |
