Arterial pulmonary conductivity
Notation in mathematical model
YHRAR
Allometric exponent
3/4

The parameter describes the dependence of blood flow through pulmonary valve from the difference between right ventricular pressure and arterial pulmonary pressure. Its physical meaning – a value inverse to resistance of the blood flow in the specified part of vascular system. The parameter is included in mathematical description of a law of blood flow through vessels as a factor YHRAR in the equation describing the blood flow through pulmonary valve (variant of the formula (20))

(32)

where PHR - right ventricular pressure, PAR - arterial pulmonary pressure.

The parameter is used for modelling of pathologic mode “pulmonary artery stenosis”. The main characteristic of this mode a reduction of conductivity value in comparison with its normal value. The regurgitation factor in the pulmonary valve rHRAR is used for modelling of pathologic mode "pulmonary valve failure".
