The parameter is included in the differential equation for the value of oxygen debt:

The parameter describes a change speed of weariness factor under the change of excercise stress, with the advent of non-zero difference between oxygen demand and oxygen delivery. The parameter does not influence on periodical modes, if the change of exercise stress does not exist. It can be used during the modelling of pathologic modes, which are being characterized by low tolerance to the exercise stress, especially when a person suffers from different metabolic imbalances (hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, diabetes mellitus), asthenic conditions and others.
