The parameter is included in mathematical description of the dependence of arterial systemic pressure from blood volume in the specified part of vascular system (23), (25). "Stressless volume in the specified part of vascular system" means blood volume in this part, if blood pressure is equal to atmospheric pressure

The parameter characterizes the dependence of arterial stressless volume from nervous and hormonal influences and is used for modelling of pathologic modes, where effect of vasospasm exists, such as “vascular collapse”.
