O9i-PLSQLOracle9i PL/SQL Programming
This course acquaints students with PL/SQL and helps them to estimate advantages of this powerful programming language. Having heard course, students will learn to create blocks of code PL/SQL which can be used by various forms, reports and applications on data processing. Students will learn to create procedures, functions, packages and triggers of a database. For development of programs it is used iSQL*Plus. Students also will learn to control program units PL/SQL and triggers of a database, to service dependences, to work with the big objects and to use some standard packages delivered Oracle. Demonstratings and practical exercises will allow to fix the received knowledge. Upon termination of course students will learn:
- to understand properties and syntax PL/SQL; - to control logic of processing (cycles, control structures and obvious cursors); - to handle the errors originating at execution of the program; - To create and fulfil procedures, functions, packages and the trigger of a database; - to work with standard packages Oracle; - to service dependences; - to work with the big objects; - to control program constructions. Necessary preparation Starting to learning course, students should: to possess knowledge in size of course O9i-SQL; an operational experience with iSQL*Plus or to hear appropriate course.
