M1609Designing Data Services and Data Models
This course is intended for the students, wishing to gain skills of designing of physical data structure, the analysis of requirements of data access, applications of various data models, and as choice of an adequate technological platform for selected model
the Program of course:
- Introduction
- Engineering process of solution
- Usage of the data received at a stage of carrying out of the conceptual analysis of system, for understanding of requirements to data structure
- Learning of the data received at a stage of the logical analysis of system, for construction of ER-models
- Normalization of the data
- Application of the data received at a stage of the physical analysis of system, for construction of data structure
- Development of services on operation with the data
- Concepts of data storage
Necessary preparation:
Common understanding of a lifetime of the project connected to software engineering. Common understanding of concepts of relational databases. Training on course M1585. Knowledge of English language for perusal of methodical manuals and executions of practical jobs.
