On this three-day course students will study questions of planning and designing of relational databases. They learn about the theory and the nomenclature of relational databases, relational algebra. The course includes sections on structured query language SQL, on optimization of databases, methods of normalization. Students will apply the knowledge in practical exercises on methodology of a database design.
